So, I admit that I watch to many people on dA. And I haven't cleaned out my inbox here in months. So, I've got more than 3,000 deviations in there. I don't want to delete all of them cause most of them are so awesome, but at the same time, there's no way I'm looking through 3,000 deviations.

What to do?

Well, I'm here. Don't know if any of the people I talked with when I was last active are still here anymore or what... But anyways, I'm baaaaack!!!!

Don't expect anything in the art department for a while, I'm still getting used to Photoshop...

Ok, enough of the stupidity for today.

So yeah, I'm back after a few weeks of being inactive. So, why was I gone? Real life issues, I guess you could say...

Anyways, I'm still doing alright. I got my new newsboys cd, In the Hands of God, so I'm more than alright. lol Any other newsboys fans out there? You have to go get their newest cd! (If you haven't already.) It's definitely one of my favorites, and it's an excellent tribute to Peter Furler, who'll be retiring from being the lead singer after 22 years of service. Godspeed, Peter! lol At least he'll still be writing songs for the newsboys.
[Side note: It's "newsboys," not "Newsboys." Apparently, it's not supposed to be capitalized. Don't know why, though...]

And, like I said last time, it was weird because the 2 that won red ribbons were my favorites, and the 1 that won best in fair was my least favorite (due to the low quality of the picture). So, who's wrong: me or the judges?

So, I guess that's it... Nothing else is coming to mind right now.

First, the good news:

Last week was our county fair. I put in 6 photos and 1 painting. 2 of the photos got red ribbons; the other four got blue ribbons, and one of those four won the Best in Fair award! Meaning that my entry was the best of all photos in the 14 - 19 age group. So I was real happy about that - except that those two red ribbons went to my two favorites, and the Best in Fair award went to my LEAST favorite... Now, here's a challenge for you guys. And, in other good news, my birthday was yesterday. I got a $100 dollar bill from my grandparents, and my parents got me an Intuos4 graphics tablet. The XL sized one. Yeah. I nearly freaked out when I looked in the box and realized just what "XL" means. The darn thing's nearly as big as my HD TV!! Which brings us to the bad news...

My TV isn't working right. I use it both for my PS3 and my computer, so now I can't play on the PS3 and I'm back to using my itty bitty 1024 x 768 monitor. My graphics tablet dwarfs the monitor. But, my dad took it to a place where they can fix it, and it should [hopefully] be in sometime at the beginning of next week. They're probably going to have to replace the screen, so thank goodness the thing is still under warranty. For some reason, the left side of the screen would randomly begin to have a yellowish tint to it... I don't know just how this came to be.

And, the other bad news is that I've got a cold. Woke up yesterday with it. Of all days to get  cold, it had to be my birthday. So, I've had headaches, a runny nose, and a sore throat for today and yesterday; not to mention that it's put me in a cranky mood. Now that I have my graphics tablet hooked up, though, I don't feel quite so bad.
